Young Architect of the Year and King Of Prussia Gold Medal

Friday, 17th January 2025

We are very proud to have been recognised for our church conservation work with three national awards yesterday at the EASA Church Architecture awards.

The King of Prussia Gold Medal is awarded annually for innovative conservation work and this year has been awarded for our £1m roofing, masonry and plaster repair project at Blandford Forum church. The judging panel selected Blandford Forum due to the creative approaches developed on site to conserve the decayed structure of the C18 domed ceiling. We are also delighted that as part of the award, the church received a cheque of £500 to support their ongoing projects.

The works at East Harptree church were highly commended and a third project at Bowden Hill church was also shortlisted.

Congratulations to Tom Griffin was also awarded ‘Young Architect of the Year’ for his work on Blandford Forum and East Harptree churches.
