We are delighted to announce that Rob Toal and Tom Griffin have been appointed as Directors at benjamin+beauchamp architects.

Rob joined the practice in 2014 and is experienced in sustainable repair and adaption.  Rob takes a balanced approach that preserves character while improving environmental performance and incorporates low carbon technologies, natural materials and creative reuse.  Rob takes a special interest in education and community projects, and has also recently been appointed as a member of the Design West Design Review Panel.

Tom joined b2 in 2015 and focuses on conservation work, with particular experience on ecclesiastical & residential projects and new designs in historic settings.  Tom is an approved church architect for four diocese and is directly appointed to a number of churches throughout the southwest.  Tom’s projects have been recognised by awards such as the William Stansell Award and the King of Prussia Gold Medal.  Earlier this year, Tom received the “Young Architect of the Year” Award from the Ecclesiastical Architects & Surveyors Association and the National Churches Trust.

We are looking forward to developing the practice as a team, and completing more wonderful and exciting projects over coming years – watch this space!
