RIAI Award for St Patrick’s Cathedral - Dublin

benjamin + beauchamp architects were awarded an RIAI 2009 Exhibition Award for the Minot Tower Conservation Project at St Patrick’s Cathedral.
The Minot Tower repair project required 28 lifts of scaffold to reach the cross, some 250ft above ground level. The spire and tower were cleaned, repaired and repointed with internal alterations to the belfry. The project was on site for 18 months.
