Merchant’s House - Marlborough
Since The Merchant’s House Trust became responsible for the 17th Century Grade II* Listed house in 1991 they have completed a wide range of conservation projects including consolidation and repair of plastered ceilings, conservation of wall paintings, repair of oak and elm boarded floors, glazing repairs, repair of the timber framed and tile clad front elevations, the addition of a fire detection system and re-ordering of the oak staircase. John Beauchamp has worked with the Trust for over 15 years and we are currently preparing a scheme to repair the kitchen.
