Rock of Cashel - Tipperary
Cormac’s Chapel at the Rock of Cashel in Ireland dates from the 12th Century and was built in the Irish Romanesque style. The chapel contains Ireland’s most extensive early medieval wall paintings. Following an extensive and detailed internal conservation programme the Office of Public Works have commissioned us to develop proposals for conservation and repair of the masonry structure. We designed a full access and weather proof scaffold which was built for use. Our work includes the research and development of an intensive conservation programme.
