St Patrick’s Cathedral, Lady Chapel - Dublin
Work started on site autumn 2012 and continued until July 2013. It took six weeks to establish site, screen the Lady Chapel and side chapels from the main body of the Cathedral, remove a window for access and build the four storey internal scaffold. Work commenced in parallel on cleaning down the internal painted surfaces with sugar soap, removing paint from masonry with Strip Away and cleaning masonry and monuments with Arte Mundt. We encountered several unforeseen problems in the early stages of work; but were able to accommodate these within the final project. A great project requiring close collaboration between client, contractor and architect.
